Travis Sjursen

Travis co-founded the firm in October of 2002. With over twenty years of experience he is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm and executive level search assignments. He has completed over 400 Director and above level searches in his time with Permanent Solutions. Travis is continuously building strong relationships within different markets resulting in continued success. 

Travis is married with two boys who excel at baseball, maybe good enough to someday assist his woeful Mets.

Michael Nevins

Michael has over sixteen years of agency and corporate recruiting experience coupled with a deep understanding of how to be a true partner to Management and Human Resources. Michael has implemented talent acquisition strategies in the corporate world and understands the hurdles of attracting passive, top tier candidates. 

Mike is married with two daughters, he enjoys golfing and fishing as much as possible while juggling a family.

Derek Cornwall

Derek co-founded the firm in October 2002.  Before co-founding the firm, Derek spent time as an Operations Manager at AT&T  and  as a Recruiting Manager in the Engineering practice at Allegis Group. Derek graduated from St. John Fisher College spending his first year after graduation with the US Border Patrol where he completed the arduous Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Derek  is married with two sons. He used to enjoy golf, fishing and skiing but now spends his weekends chasing his two boys.

Lauren Dunn

Lauren is a Recruiter with the  Pharmaceuticals team at PSG. Before PSG, Lauren worked for Paychex as an Account Manager for their health and benefits group. She has been able to take her strengths in customer service and sales and use them to her advantage as a recruiter. 

Lauren graduated from LeMoyne College (Go Dolphins).  She enjoys traveling, recently going across the pond to Europe, making pasta and sipping wine while spending quality time with her friends and family.

Damon Arnold

Damon serves as a Division Director at Permanent Solutions Group and is the practice leader for the Construction & Materials  Group.

Before joining the firm Damon spent his career with a Fortune 500 Building Materials and Construction business managing division recruiting efforts, and developing an external recruiting strategy for a portfolio of businesses focused on aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete and paving lines of business. Successfully completing over 500 management search processes.

Damon graduated from Cortland State College where he played baseball and remains active in baseball, coaching at St. John Fisher College in his spare time.

Casandra Nguyen

Casandra is Recruiter with the Private Equity team at PSG. She is passionate about helping people and uses her customer service background to help build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.

Casandra is a proud alum of St. Bonaventure University (Go Bonnies). After graduation, she spent time making magic as a cast member at Disney World in Orlando, Florida before easing into the world of “adulting”.

Elizabeth Ordway

Elizabeth is a Recruiting Analyst at PSG, where she utilizes her analytical skills to assist in recruitment efforts. Elizabeth is a recent graduate of St. John Fisher College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 3 years while working as an intern with a leading supply chain company, DB Schenker.

Elizabeth grew up in the Adirondack’s  engaging in many outdoor activities, hiking the high peaks, fishing, and skiing while still enjoying these activities she has also discovered many of the local microbreweries!
